we’re going to San Salvador!!!! It’s ben YEARS since I’ve been out of Texis!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wooooohoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! We’re going OUT. AWAY. We’ll SEE OTHER PPL!!!!!!!!!!!! No it’s not the great youth group nor does it involve volleyball….

but we’re going AWAY. We can dress up, or dress down, whichever we prefer, and I love dressing up so………

p.s. for those who don’t know better, let me clarify that yes, I have been out of Texis in the last year (in the last month too) but it’s not often enough for me. I miss seeing other ppl and just "dressing up" and having fun!!!!!!! (And that’s why I’m pumped!!) Someone that Mom and Dad know is visiting El Salvador and she really wants to see us so we’re all of a sudden going for supper in S.S. with her family… and other friends like James and Noami Yoder, and Misael’s Aguilar’s family. I love spur-of-the-moments!!!!!!!

As you can see, he is in first grade and excited about entering this new stage in life. Learning to read is like exploring a totally new world and he loves it! Mom says she can’t believe how quickly he is learning because he’s so wild and hyper during class. He seriously bounces on his chair; he simply can not stay still. The other day, out of nowhere, he stands up on his chair in the middle of the school morning and starts rapping Toby Mac, motions and all. Now where did that come from?? (what with the cousins and brother he has, why not, eh?? LOL)

All those "silly stuff" (thats what he called it) that he wrote were then translated to the language we know, and he wrote it by himself. Notice how he spelled ’scared’. I decided not to correct him, cuz he wouldn’t understand what’s wrong with it yet. I was surprised he spelled ‘of’ correctly…
